About this event: The Milwaukie Poetry Series is delighted to invite you to August's First Friday poetry readings for the Summer Season! Please join us at Milwaukie Floral and Garden which is located at 3306 SE Lake Road., Milwaukie, OR 97222. We're encouraging attendees to arrive early to the event if they are interested in exploring all that Milwaukie Floral and Garden has to offer—that includes the Creators and Curators Market—which showcases incredible vendors who curate vintage, French, food, art, jewelry, and handcrafted goods! The featured readers will be Pattie Palmer-Baker, Janice Rubin and John Van Dreal. They will read for approximately 40 minutes. We will then have the Open Mic. Anyone who would like to participate in the Open Mic is welcome, however we will not be taking readers over Zoom.
